What if your child’s first experience at the dentist was full of fun and excitement, and the start of a fantastic relationship with their smile?

Meet your dentist

“Hi! I’m Dr. Acosta, and I am so excited to meet you!
As your dentist, we will get to talk about all sorts of amazing things that happen inside your mouth (like losing teeth….or how your tongue print is just like a thumb print…everyone’s is different!). My job is to help you stay healthy, and to teach you about taking care of your teeth and gums.”

Frequently Asked Questions

When should my child first see the dentist?

TO ensure that your child's smile has a healthy foundation, Dr. Acosta recommends bringing your kids in for an exam within six months of the appearance of their first tooth — or no later than their first birthday.

My child has dental anxiety, can you help?

We strive to make every trip to the dentist fun, educational, and anxiety free for both child and parent/guardian! However, if you child has fear dental treatment, we do offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to safely help your child relax.

Do you provide orthodontic services?

Dr. Acosta is able to apply early prevention and intervention methods (such as space maintainers) and monitor you child’s needs as they get older. Should your child need to visit the orthodontist, we’ll ensure they land there at just the right time…never to early, and never too late!

How can I keep my child's teeth cavity free?

Good brushing and flossing routines and keeping up to date on hygiene appointments are an important part of a healthy smile! We also offer sealants for children, to help protect cavity-prone areas of their teeth.
